PhD faculty Heidi Y. Lawrence, PhD student Rachael Graham Lussos, and English MA-PWR alumna Jessica A. Clarke published their article on the rhetorics of proposal writing in Journal of Technical Writing and Communication (JTWC). In "Rhetorics of Proposal Writing: Lessons for Pedagogy in Research and Real-World Practice," the authors find that proposal writers' main writing concerns and needs are missing from the field's literature on proposal writing instruction.
