Rhetoric of Health and Medicine; embodiment; materiality; wearables

Norma (aka Normi) is the Arts and Sciences Program Director at the Northern Virginia campus of ECPI University [East Coast Polytechnic Institute]. Besides her program director responsibilities, she also teaches Composition, Advanced Composition, Principles of Communication, Essentials for Success, and the Arts & Sciences Capstone course. Her dissertation will contribute to the Rhetoric of Health and Medicine field of inquiry as she explores how embodied rhetoric and materialities help us understand non-normative health practices. Outside of work and academic studies, she is a running nut with her eyes set on conquering her first ultramarathon (if she can stay injury-free).
