Total time to degree will not exceed nine calendar years from the time of first enrollment as a doctoral degree-seeking student. Doctoral students are expected to advance to candidacy in no more than six years.
International students attending in F-1 or J-1 status may have more restrictive limits than those above. They should contact the Office of International Programs and Services for more information.
